Nuskope Usage Meter V2 for Rainmeter

My NuSkope Usage Meter for Rainmeter has seen some updates in the past month. If you've not managed to find it via the Whirlpool Forums. You can read below the cut to get more info about the changes or head over to the Github.com page for releases.

The Details

As you made not be aware sometime ago I hacked together a usage meter for a local ISP called NuSkope using their JSON API. This usage meter was based on a BigPond/Telstra - Internet Usage Meter by kanine found at the Whirlpool Forums. This meter used a VBS script to log into Telstra MyAccount and download the data needed to generate the usage meter.

As with NuSkope providing a direct API key to your own usage data the VBS used to login an download the data is no longer needed. NuSkope had also changed their plans from seperate Download and Upload quotas to a single Download + Upload quota. So while the hacks I made worked as it wasn't my code it made it a little cumbersome to update when changes were made and adding features not possible.

On thing I wanted was a comparison of usage from the current month to pass history. From what data is available the current NuSkope usage API provides a little over two months of past usage data. So below is what has been created.

I'm really quite happy with the the current design. Rainmeter is really versatile given the right data set The only major changes to the meter I would be looking to add something to show a per day histogram.  Feel free to clone the meter and use it for your own ISP if they provide a similar API.
